Pupils and staff from St Francis School in Milford Haven celebrated World Book Day this week (Thursday 3rd March) by dressing up as their favourite literary characters. Each class had a chosen theme with reception class celebrating 150 years of Beatrix Potter, Years 1&2 dressed up as characters from Julia Donaldson books, Year 3 costumes had a Horrid Henry theme, Year 4 and 5 dressed as charactersfrom David Walliams novels and Year 6 went back in time as figures from the Horrible Histories collection. The children spent the morning learning about different authors, playing literary games and creating their own factual quizzes about their chosen books.
